  • How does the label work for organisations?

    To earn the label, government departments, institutions and businesses have to meet the FFITS.ORG labeling requirements and follow the specific program guidelines.

    There are 3 labeling categories:
    • End User Computing
    • Enterprise and Data Centre
    • ICT as a Low Carbon Enabler

    The licensing guidelines cover items including the correct use of the FFITS.ORG trade mark, and compliance with the Code of Practice.  From time to time we randomly select a number of licensees and carry out an independent audit to ensure businesses continue to comply with the various requirements under the licensee criteria.
  • What are the steps to certify my business for the Green IT label?

    1. Complete the Online Certification Label Survey.
    2. Agree to the Code of Practice, Logo Usage Guidelines, Trademark Licensing Agreement.
    3. Choose the label you would like to display on your website.
    4. Paste the special label code into your web pages and or download the label email signatures or logos to display your label to the world.
  • Do you audit certified companies?

    Yes. We will from time to time randomly select a number of licensees and carry out an independent audit to ensure businesses continue to comply with the various requirements under the licensee criteria.
  • What the label will look like on my website?

    We provide you with a label that you can place on your site to promote your commitment to climate change. After you have joined, you will be able to select the label you comply with, that you can place anywhere on your website. Some people like to place their various accreditation badges along the bottom whilst others like to make them more prominent.
