FFITS shortlisted for Green Leader Award

SYDNEY, Wednesday 13 April 2011 – The Foundation for IT Sustainability (FFITS) has been shortlisted as "NGO of the Year" for the prestigious BusinessGreen Leaders Awards.

The shortlist for each of the 10 categories highlights the genuine leaders in the emerging low carbon economy. It includes a wide variety of firms and executives, ranging from innovative start ups to city blue chips, and sustainability managers to green entrepreneurs.

FFITS was nominated in the NGO of the Year category for their unique approach to communicating a crucial environmental message on Green IT: International Green IT Awareness Week 2010.

FFITS employs new Development Manager

SYDNEY, Monday 7 February 2011 – The Foundation for IT Sustainability (FFITS) has today announced they have employed a new Development Manager.

Expanding on their recent success with initiatives such as International Green IT Awareness Week and the Professional Members Program, FFITS has introduced the new role to be filled by Simon White, a former federal police officer, strategic security consultant and general manager.

Green Storm Headed for IT World
